Team Psycho Weekend (TPW)
Wendell, Ma - A great weekend for the 18th annual Team Psycho Weekend. Thanks to the Western Mass Militia TP crew, Carmen, Elaine, Samantha, Maggie for pink TP chic socks and many others, it was a fun filled weekend of psycho training, swim, bike, run x3. With lots of hill climbs, lymrics, popsicle sticks and beer we were too tired to meet up with the ghosts in the dorms! Some of the regular pro lymric psychos might be replaced by some new people, so reclaim your fame and don't miss out on 2011, we missed you!

St. Croix Ironman 70.3
St. Croix, US Virgin Islands - Psychos Maggie, Duffy, Kyle, Jessen and Jason take the St. Croix challenge. Maggie takes 7th in AG! Kyle, Jessen and Duffy take 27th, 28th, and 30th, respectively. Congratulations to all for racing the Beast in the one of the toughest conditions yet. You rock! For a race recap.

St. Anthony's Olympic Triathlon
St. Petersburg, Fl - Psychos Alicia, Anna, Laura and Sam race St Anthony's. Alicia came in 6th pro with a time of 2:02:45 and Anna placed 11th in elite group with a time of 2:20:13! Congratulations to all for a great day!

114th Boston Marathon
Boston, MA - Ok, while some were riding western or duathloning, others were running Boston. Psycho runners: David B, Mikey, David L, ATB, Top Tube, Ranger, Karen M, Marielle and Lisa. While we all have our stories/excuses for times, it is a great accomplishment! Psycho support was out in full force along the way. Spotted were: Seth, Duffy's with the much appreciated TP support tent, Leslie, Eric, Jimmy B, Kitty and others. While Top Tube had the best time, breaking 3hrs with a 2:59:04(w2g!), it appears that Ranger was the happiest!

Wrentham Duathlon
Wretham, MA - While some Psychos were climbing hills this day, BD and Duffy were duathloning in Wrentham. BD wins AG, 12th Ov with a time of 1:00. Nice job guys! For results.

Western Ride
Greenfield, MA - A bunch of Psychos met in Western MA to tackle 10k feet of climbing followed by beer and food. A tough day on the hill for a tough crowd...it is on the calendar for next year!

Marathon Relay
Concord, MA – Three teams of four Psychos and friends completed the 8th Annual Marathon Relay. The winning team of Matthew Bergiel, Michael Lohrer, Ali Armstrong and Jeff Hunt covered the distance in an event record time of 2:38:53.

Oceanside, CA - Congratulations to Andrew Bennett, Ted Hovivian and Mr/Mrs. Duffy for completing Oceanside 70.3! Not too many of us would be ready to race this distance in March, so way to go gang! For results.

New Bedford, MA - Congratulations to Karen Smyers and Karen Monks for their stellar age group top 10 places in New Bedford Half Marathon. You ladies make racing look easy!

Elite Development Race, Clermont Fla
Congratulations to Alicia Kaye for her 2nd place finish in the Elite Development Race, Clermont, Florida, a great start to the 2010 season!

Hyannis, Half Marathon
Hyannis, MA - A great TP showing (7) at the Hyannis Half Marathon with lots of awards. Tod Dillon, 1st TP'er to cross the finish line with a 1:21 taking 5th in AG, followed by Anna Stauss, 4th overall woman, placing 1st in AG at 1:27! In addition, Jim Bunnell took 3rd in AG and TP came in 3rd place male Masters Team (Tom, Jim, Scott, Ted). Most importantly, Mooseknuckle beat SS by 2minutes and won the beer bet! Congrats to Tod, Anna, Jim, Andrew, Eric, Scott and Ted on the first road race of the year!

Team Psycho Indoor Time Trial
Newton, MA - The 9th Annual Team Psycho Indoor Time Trial was held at the Fast Splits Multisport store. There were 79 riders and 1 hand cyclist. Amanda Derkacs set the woman's record with a time of 23:50.27 just barely beating Karen Smyers by 31/100 of a second with a time of 23:50.58, wow! Daniel Derkacs (hubby of Amanda) took the men's race with a time of 21:54. Kevin Thomas was close behind to take second with a time of 22:05.57. Patrick Doak, hand cyclist, had a great time of 28:50! Thanks to Fast Splits, Daniel Derkacs for great photos (to see photos) and all the volunteers, in particular, Anne Perry, whose diligent weight-keeping and registration process kept the event timely throughout the day. Harpoon Indoor Time Trial
Boston, MA -Taking place at the Harpoon Brewer, with almost 300 riders, it is the largest indoor trial event to-date. This year, again Team Psycho sweeps the awards, which was Harpoon beer of course! Karen Smyers wins the women's division with a time of just over 21 minutes. The the team competition, an 8-member mixed team, also went to TP. Way to go! Of course Dave Nerrow/Fast Splits provided the 24 computrainers for the event. For story.
