Elite Amateur Division Arguably the most competitive Elite Amateur field in the world. This division is for REALLY FAST age groupers expecting to place in the top 10 overall amongst amateurs (not top 10 in age group). You must meet certain criteria in order to race in this division. Please click on the Elite Amateur Division tab for more information. As the first major race on the U.S. calendar, St. Anthony’s Triathlon has kicked off the triathlon season in North America for the past 26 years. On race day you’ll swim through the brisk waters of Tampa Bay, bike along glimmering waterways and quiet harbors and run through picturesque neighborhoods and past cheering spectators. Race against the world’s top professional triathletes as they compete for $60,000. The event culminates with a festive waterfront awards party featuring live music, great food, cold beer and cool door prizes. Over the years, St. Anthony's Triathlon has been named "Race of the Year" by USA Triathlon and has served as a qualifier for the Ironman Triathlon World Championship. Athletes from 48 states and 18 countries participated in 2009.

You are invited to the most prolific indoor sporting event ever created. Better than the Stanley Cup Finals, even Better than the Super Bowl (which is only sometimes indoors). The 9th annual Team Psycho ITT is on for Saturday February 6, 2010 at the all new Ride Studio @ Fast Splits Multisport in Newton. Details are below. Reserve your spot in the annual pain train and test yourself against the best or determine how bad you’ve slacked off through the Holidays! There are 10 heats of 12 riders with a new heat starting about every 45 minutes from 12 noon until 8:00 PM. Use the link below to visit the Fast Splits registration page and go to Saturday February 6th. Select the heat you want for the Team Psycho ITT and register. Harpoon ITT
January 30, 2010
Boston, MA
Bike 28M
http://www.harpoonbrewery.com/index.cfm?pid=123086

January 30, 2010 at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston. ABOUT THE HARPOON ITT EXTREME CYCLING AND EXTREMELY GOOD BEER The Harpoon ITT is not a joy ride. It is an acid test of the cyclist’s physical and mental limits. Do you have what it takes to secure the Harpoon Podium Bar Stool, where the fastest male and female riders will watch the competition tear out their hearts to unseat them? Want to rehydrate with a freshly brewed Harpoon while the cycling world’s elite go beyond the boundaries of human performance in the Pro Races? In more restrained terms, The Harpoon Indoor Time Trial presented by Fast : Splits Multisport is an indoor cycling event in which contestants compete for the fastest time on a fixed course using stationary trainers. The Harpoon ITT celebrates the intensity of indoor cycling and the camaraderie of a post competition beer. Guests and spectators are welcome. The Harpoon ITT will be held at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston on Saturday, January 30, 2010. Fast : Splits Multisports will supply the Computrainers and organize the competition over a 10K course. Course times will range from approximately 20 to 40 minutes. A professional announcer provides analysis and color commentary while a disk jockey keeps the music, hearts, and legs pumping (theme from Rocky is prohibited). And where else but the Harpoon Brewery can you drink a fresher, tastier beer?

TP New Years Day Run
January 01, 2010
Newton, MA
Run 11M
The 26th annual New Year's Day 11-mile fun run (Friday, Jan 1st) is on. It starts at Marathon Sports in Wellesley at noon and proceeds on the marathon course to Comm. and Mass. Afe. Afterwards, there's free pizza and soup at Crossroads (Mass. and Beacon). JJ, our Crossroads host who also runs for Dana Farber, sometimes asks for $2 at the door for his marathon fund-raising. There will be rides leaving Crossroads Bar at 11ish am to carpool out to the start. You can drop a bag of dry clothes at Crossroads to change into at the finish. Drivers are always needed so if you can't run, earn your post-run beer by helping with the carpools!
