Michael is a black paratriathlete and part of the Army World Class Athlete Program who competes with an arm that has been amputated above the elbow. Michael is the 1st and only above-elbow amputee in military history to remain fit for duty and at present, he is also the only black paratriathlete in the world. Michael is dedicated to making it to Paris in 2024 and lives in CO.
