It is time to let your kids show off their Psycho Karma! The 13th annual Lincoln Kids Triathlon is next Saturday, June 18th @ 8:30 am. If you have a “mini-me” at home, this is the perfect way for him/her to follow in your footsteps (or redeem the family name–as the case may be). It is for kids age 5-14 (though Carl Monks is renowned for taking on those 5-6 year-olds as a courageous 3+ year-old!) Distances and info can be found on the website at www.kidstri.net and the signups are at the Lincoln Rec website: www.lincolnrec.com.
And, your cup runneth over with volunteer opportunities! We really need volunteers to keep the kids from going every which way. You will need an easy week after crushing the B2VT ride anyway, so what better way to spend it than supporting the next generation of triathletes. It won’t take too much of your time (7 am – 10:30 am) and I guarantee you will train with an extra pep in your step after seeing these kids race their hearts out.
